Part 2: Social Media Makeover? Can Katie Freiling’s Social Media Wealth Manifesto & The Unified Tribe Be That Missing Piece?

“One Word… Synergy” (Word Wednesdays On Facebook)

Whether it’s one word or several there is a lot of POWER within words written or spoken.

Just last night I had several words ‘Pop’ into my head while I was staring at my Facebook status update box.

So, you wanna know what I decided to do? I just typed those words into the box. That’s it. That’s all I did. And right now I don’t remember what they were exactly. That doesn’t matter right at this moment though…

You may be thinking… “What’s the big deal, Kary? So what…”

Well, what I’m wanting to share with you today is a personal and simple way to express yourself with one or even just a few words.

For example, if I were write… love, friendship, caring, happiness, joy… I begin to feel them, visualize them, and attract them into my life. What became fun was that others began adding their words to the comment thread. and soon the group began taking on the momentum and energy that was flowing from everyone’s words.

I believe one person was saying that we were creating ‘synergy’ together in this exercise. I felt a rush of excitement and community while doing this together. In fact, I found my self waiting anxiously for what other people where going to submit to the thread.

It got me thinking about why I like the concept of Tribes Online so much. By working together and leveraging the ideas, uniqueness, and strengths of each other we combine and create something exponentially greater than the sum of each individually.

Synergy!

All I know is that by sharing a few positive, meaningful, and powerful words with the world, I began to receive much more as our group gained a momentum and yes, ‘Synergy’ together…

Content Is “King”: Learn The Best Techniques For Creating Great Content

Is your content boring people to tears and driving away business?

Writing good quality content is probably one of THE MOST IMPORTANT SKILLS you can master for you online business. You can drive traffic all day long to any website, but if the content is not appealing your readers will not stick around, and worse… they will not BUY FROM YOU.

Good content is the mechanism that converts readers into followers and followers into buyers. By following a couple of steps you can have good content that people will not only want to read, but will want to share with their readers.

You must churn out HOT new content on a regular basis! Because of fierce competition for eyes, you MUST stand out among the sea of bloggers and marketers online. Leading with valuable content needs to be your #1 priority!

Find your target audience.
I know what you’re saying… “What does this have to do with good quality content?” My answer… EVERYTHING. You need to have the right readers for your content, and you need to keep your reader’s wants and needs in mind when writing.

Research.
Do a search in Google and your favorite social sites and forums. Look at what others are writing about. Look at how they are writing. Look for ideas concepts writing styles. There may be a lot of information on the topic you want to write about and that’s ok. In fact it could be a good thing, because now you’re going to put your spin on it.

A bold eye catching title.
This is your first “hook” to get your readers to look further into your content. Again keep your readers in mind. Think like they do. What would draw your attention?

Compelling body.
Each sentence needs to lead to the next and each paragraph needs to lead to the next. Keep the flow going. When you re-read it does it make sense? Is there anything where someone would say… “So what.” If so then take it out.

Your writing can be about things that are educational, entertaining, enlightening, encouraging, and inspiring. If you keep this in mind and change up what you write about, people will come back for more over and over again!

You’ll quickly know whether your content is ‘gelling’ with your readers, because you’ll get dozens and dozens of comments in the first couple of days when a new post goes live.

Strong close.
Wrap up your article or story with an overview of what you just told them. Don’t just leave it hanging. There’s nothing worse than allowing your reader to think they just wasted their time reading your stuff.

Call to action.
An article worth it’s weight will draw people in and give them something of value for their time. So ask them to do something for you. You can have them leave a comment, post your article to their social networks, and share it with their friends. This is where most people miss it big time. It’s like leaving money on the table.

It’s also important to ask insightful questions to engage your readers. And do your best to keep the dialog open with them by commenting back. There is a great WordPress Plugin you can use to nest your comments under each commentator. It’s called WordPress Thread Comment.

So now that you have an idea of how to write good content that your audience will want to read, the next thing to do… is.. go do it. Set a target of writing a piece of content every day or at least twice per week. The more you do the easier it becomes.

By being dedicated to putting out the very best possible content every time possible, you may quickly find your self as an ‘A-List’ blogger or have an authority site on your hands!
