About Kary

3586863685_e6e42973cc_bWelcome To My Official Blog!

So here’s a little about me my friends… I grew up moving all over the west coast: Montana, Idaho, Alaska, and then finally Oregon. Since we moved a lot, I had to overcome that shyness to make friends. Unfortunately for my teachers that meant I was kind of a class clown to get noticed by my peers. My report cards are evidence of that unsavory personality… As I look back it probably part of an inner issue where I was competing for the attention of my dad over my step mom. He remarried when I was 4 1/2 years old.

The reason I share this is that life wasn’t always a bowl of cherries for me. Much of the time I was finding ways to cover up who I really was… looking for ways to stand out and to have people like me.

Moving Ahead…

I went on to the University of Arizona and Oregon State University, all along working in Alaska in the fishing industry for 10 summers to make money for school. I took a couple of years off from school after my first 4 years of college. I played volleyball, waited tables, and thoroughly got myself into debt with a network marketing company. I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to do. And life was not getting any easier with the choices I was making.

So, here at the age of 22, I was living in Tuscon, $20,000 in debt from credit cards, and finally had to humble myself and go back home to live and to try to work it off. This was definitely the ‘lowest’ point of my life. I had alienated most of my friends, I was living at home, I had NO CLUE about what I wanted to do with my life. As I look back this was an incredibly important time in my life. It made me tougher. It refocused me to take action. I can now see how it was a blessing in disguise.

A New Direction…

I went back to school and finished with my teaching degree. This journey up to this point allowed for me to do some serious soul searching… I had been wrapped up in things that were completely contrary to me. I’m so grateful now as I look back to those circumstances; they molded me and allowed me to see and discover a deeper truth in myself and my role in the world.

I became extremely passionate in helping others and personal development. And learned the power of not focusing on my own needs but others. I found my inner peace and strength through my new relationship with Jesus and had a clearer vision of my role I am to play in this world.

As An Entrepreneur…

I always have had an interests and burning desire in my soul to be an entrepreneur, and I had learned a great deal about what not to do in this industry that chews up and spits out people right and left and leaves people’s dreams shattered.

Interestingly, that passion and interest recently had brought me to the Internet to look at social media marketing. The entrepreneurial spirit inside of me began to stir and awaken again and I knew that THIS was what I had been waiting for.

Although at times I daydreamed again about striking it rich, I kept that vision in check. I knew that true wealth wasn’t wrapped up in all the cash, that personal development and personal skills were going to be my ticket to making things happen for me. My adversity and ‘failures’ in my past had made me a much more powerful human being and even if I did have setbacks, nothing was going to stop me and take my focus away from my goals.

So Here I Am…

So at the end of 2008, I came online to research the Social Media Marketing industry. I soon realized that there was an entirely new world in front of my eyes that I never even knew existed!… The world of online marketing. Fortunately for me, I listened to my ‘inner voice’ and decided to get real training and coaching from some of the best internet marketers in the industry.

And because of the training I received and my iron clad commitment to success, I ended up for the first time having people begin to call me for advice, had people calling me to want to do joint ventures, and having people quit their other opportunities to partner with me. This has all given me a new hope and excitement, as I like much of the country have experienced cuts in pay in my career.

But I didn’t stop there… I fully realized that Internet marketing was all about building your own LIST, or your own personal following. I built up a brand for myself in the social networks, built my list, and because of that, was able to do something I had not been able to accomplish before (I earned over $1,000 in 72 hours during one recent promotion just by sending out a couple emails to my list).

I Caught The Bigger Vision…

So I now could see the enormous power and potential in social media and that’s what I’m teaching others. My true success is completely credited to my commitment to personal growth and development and my faith in God. Like an onion, I’ve been able to peel my many layers to continue to grow… This deeper passion to know my self has EMPOWERED me to stay focused and to be able to support others in their quest for ‘freedom’.

And this strong desire to help other people is burning strong. I know how powerful people can choose to be. My goal is to help others wake up to it and find it within themselves. It’s time for change in our country and planet. People are paralyzed by fear and have little skill to conquer it and to find their true self. People are unhappy in their jobs, they settle for empty relationships, and are prisoners of their thoughts and decisions…

Time To Do Great Things Together…

It’s time for change to take shape! I am going to do my part to spread the Truth of why we are here and what we are called to do. We all have an inherent ability to live happy and fulfilling lives. We have the potential to do so much good in the world. We can create our own destinies with our powerful thoughts, feelings, and actions. I am here to help as many people as possible to find that within themselves…

I want to share a song that rings true to my story… My prayer is that it touches and inspires you to do great things!

    Hi Kary,
I love reading your story. It is funny the twists and turns our lives take yet each step we have taken in the past brought us to right where we are now. I am grateful that I have become apart of this amazing tribe. I feel very blessed.

Yes, I have had many interesting lifetimes within this one life time. I did do a stint in Alaska on a fish processing boat when I was in my early 30′s when I was recently single after being married for 10 years. Quite an experience and again I think when we go through the lows and the highs in our lives we truly get to dig deep and truly know how powerful we truly are.

Congratulations on making life enhancing decisions for yourself and making a difference in the lives of others.

Hi Kary – Everyone has a story to tell – I am amazed what people go through to live their dream of working for themselves and being paid on the value of the work, not trading time for wages. Please stop by my blog and read my “About Me” – interesting also how Jesus in our lives enabled us to break free.. God Bless you Kary

    Hi Kary,
Very interested in your blog! (Had to come back and read it again). If I’d landed here two months ago, I’d be a lot further along because you do give that feel of being a teacher that can center on one’s needs and how to offer solutions. . . .

One’s twenties are really something to live through. They either make you or break you. It’s a big job finding out just who you are and what your values are. You certainly need to take time to pat yourself on your back for your successes!

I’m looking forward to sharing with you, Kary.

a little more about me. And it was great speaking
