Prayer Wall

I’ve had this on my heart for some time now… And something happened the other day that will forever change the way I look at social media, blogging, and the relationships I cherish online.

Let me explain…

“A friend called me the other night. She’s someone that I had met on FB and Skype. I had messaged her to chat and I didn’t have her phone number… Last time I had done that, she really needed someone to talk to…

She’s a single mom with 8 kids building a business from home and homeschooling. This is so sad… her daughter was killed in a motorcycle accident that day and my message was there again to chat with her.”

Can you help me please pray for her and her family for strength, courage, and comfort in this challenging time? Many of us on social media really have become a “loving family.” I appreciate so many of you that I’ve come to know and call my friends…

This page is dedicated to posting Prayer Requests and praying for others in need. Thanks for joining our Tribe of Prayer Warriors

Kary…I will keep your friend, and her family, and loved ones, in my prayers.
And I pray as well, with confidence, that you and many other online friends, will be a source of comfort to her in times ahead.
God bless you, my friend, for acting on what has been on your heart.

Hi Kary! What a nice feature of your blog….Prayer Works!
I just came across a prayer/blessing that I really like from an old spiral bound unity cookbook (simple foods, simple life):

    May we in gladness share
With all who come our way
The good that God bestows on us
    In lavish love each day.

    Let’s Be Brilliant! Blessings, Melinda

Kary this is a great idea. As prayer is apart of my daily life and believe in the power of prayer. Thank you for stepping out yet again to lead the way in creating this wall.
    Blessings

hey Kary and friends…many of you know Karla Setchel, from our tribe community. Her Uncle Roy recently passed away, after a long battle with cancer, and she has asked for prayers for his family.
I mentioned the Prayer Wall here, and she asked me if I could post her request for her.
On her behalf, thank you for keeping her and her Uncle Roy’s family in your prayers. God bless…

Kary, I have also sent my prayers and I believe that there is great power in mass prayer. May all the Good Forces be with that family and you and yours.

    Request for Prayer
To all of my friends of faith: Prayer is one of the keys that un-locks the powers of heaven. When people of faith pray and ask God for blessings, the heavens are opened and blessings are bestowed that might not otherwise have been bestowed. Prayer works even if you don’t know the person you are praying for!
I have a close friend who needs the power of prayer in her life. She has experienced one trial after another for the past 2 1/2 years. First an auto accident, the vehicle she was in was hit in the rear at a stop light at about 50 MPH that left her with 2 ruptured discs in her neck. (Very painful) Shortly thereafter she found out she had cervical cancer and has endured three major surgeries in the past two years. She found out this week a tumor has come back. It is growing quickly. Another major surgery will happen within the next few weeks. She is the mother of 7 and has already been through more than any person should have to endure in a lifetime. Just knowing other Christians are praying for you is comforting when someone is going through such circumstances. I am asking you to please join me in praying for her, to draw upon the powers of heaven in her behalf. Please keep her in your prayers during the coming weeks. Her name is Johnna. I have set up an e-mail address to let her know you will say a prayer for her. It will only take a minute of your time but will be a great blessing to her. All you have to do is click on her address and write you own one line short note like, “ I’m praying for you Johnna” and sign your name. In doing so, you can be part of helping a miracle happen in her life. Thanks to all….I know you will be blessed for your efforts. Please send this to as many friends as you can that knows the power of prayer. We want to get as many people as possible to say a prayer for her. This is not a chain letter, it is a request for help from a fellow Christian. Every person who sends an e-mail will receive a very special Poem that I promise will be a great blessing to you in your life.

    Send e-mail to: Pray4Johnna@aol.com

Kary, I will pray for her and her family. I don’t know you, I just happened to come across your blog but incorperating my faith in Christ into my blog is something I’ve thought a great deal about lately. Your story and your prayer wall is a great idea and I believe confirmation that I should go ahead and do what I have been feeling led to do.

    Blessings,

    Kary,

Thanks for having a place to submit prayer request.

Please pray for my 10 year old granddaughter, Kayla. She has been in and out of Texas Children’s Hospital since October. She has another appointment in the Hematology-Oncology department on March 24th, but she is becoming increasingly ill. The fevers are escalating and the fatigue is severely limiting her activities.

      Will do, my friend.

      Many blessings and peace,
      Kary

    Kary…

Thanks for having the prayer wall…it speaks for itself. I have personally seen miracles performed through massive prayer chains. I will pray for everyone who is mentioned here. The evil one trembles when we pray because he knows that it is a direct link to our Heavenly Father…and he cannot interfere! Power in prayer…a great way to be unstoppable.

Kary, thank you for standing in your faith and having a Prayer Wall!! This is rare to see on a secular website. I am so thankful you made a stand and are testifying about the God-given power that is at the center of your life. I have seen prayer manifest in my life and others. My fiance, is in my life as a direct result of prayer. God knew he needed my help…lol. Seriously though, I am blessed and I see clearly that you are and as a result of that, you bless others. Thank you so much!! Marion
