Top 10 Reasons Why I Use Katie Freiling’s Unified Tribe Syndication Platform

So it’s been over a month now since Katie Freiling launched her much anticipated Unified Tribe Syndication Platform. I had been eagerly waiting for it for over 6 months and when it became available I was eager to jump in and give it some action. And I’m so glad I did!

Below is a Top 10 List of why I use the Unified Feed for syndicating my content across the social media sites like Facebook and Twitter… The following video is where I pull back the curtain and give you a behind the scenes view of what it looks like and how easy it is to use.

Autosyndication: I submit my content and links and people go to work sharing my posts and videos for me!
Traffic: I’ve seen a MASSIVE increase in traffic to my blog since joining the Unified Tribe.
More Business Partners: Weekly and sometimes daily I’m approached by new people who want to partner with me in one of my business opportunities.
Social Credibility: Since I get so many ReTweets, Comments and people joining my Google Friend Connect and Facebook “Like” page, my benefit is increased social credibility.
Personal Branding: Along with the increase in traffic and exposure comes and increase in my brand recognition. I have people telling me all the time that they see my content everywhere on the social media sites.
More Comments: Increased traffic brings more people commenting on my content. When that happens I’m able to interact with visitors and create a community feeling and hub spot for learning.
Community: In the Unified Tribe there is a massive community of like-minded entrepreneurs that I can network and mastermind with to reach my business goals. (Invaluable and usually overlooked.)
Subscribers: I’ve seen a large increase of people subscribing to my blog for updates and for my free give away. This is one of my most valuable assets.
Mentoring & Training: Within the community there is a ton of training and mentoring to learning key tips and strategies to be a better blogger, marketer, and entrepreneur.
New Friendships: I’ve made some incredible new friendships with the community as well.

Blogging For Beginners: “What does it mean to have a personal brand?”

Use video and personal pictures as often as possible. When people see you and hear you, you become more familiar to them, which furthers your ‘Brand’ in their eyes.

Trust is built through increased transparency. Rapport is created. And ultimately influence will transpire through this process.

Isn’t it true that you feel like you know certain people you’ve watched in videos online? They almost become a friend in your mind, and you feel like they ‘speak to you’ and understand you better than people you see face-to-face.

This is POWERFUL, POWERFUL stuff! Don’t neglect or shy away from this component of blog building. Many of my coaching clients and students jumpstart their confidence with taking a 30-day video challenge. Challenge yourself to shoot one video each day for the next 30 days.

Some will be ones you want to put up on Youtube… others won’t make the cut… and that’s OK. The purpose of it is to get over any barriers you may have toward getting your ‘mug’ in front of a camera. Now get out there and do it! It’ll be the best marketing decision you can make.

Don’t forget about going out and getting a domain name with your name in it or something similar. I’ve seen CreateWithEric.com or MeetNickLogan.com as examples. Set up you hosting account with a company like Host Gator. You can choose a hosting package and many offer WordPress as part of the set up process to make things easier.

Blogging For Beginners: The ‘About Me’ Page…

How much should I share about my personal life on my blog? If any?

Always include an ‘About Me’ page. This page is so important and needs to really tell your story: where you were at, what happened during your journey, what you learned, and how you’ve come through to the other side…

Again, I can’t over emphasize that your blog is about “You, Inc.” The only way for people to get to know about you is by sharing your story, passions, interests, and dreams. By doing so, people will begin to relate better to you and they will see you as a friend who can empathize with where they are at in the whole scheme of things.

Let your blog readers know why you created this blog and what they can expect to get out of it. You’ll also want to share your life story (Not too long, not too short, just enough for people to get a good feel for who you are). Include a video or pictures.

Below are 15 points of interest in creating an ‘About Me’ page.

Intro Paragraph. Let your readers know exactly what your blog is about. What are the benefits for them? Why should they read your blog?
Share why you created this blog. Share your passions and vision for this blog.
Give a brief outline or time line of your life story. Focus more on your personal growth.
Share the low points in your life and how you overcame them. The more relevant to your blog the better.
Brand your accomplishments. Even if you think they’re not that noteworthy. Give yourself some kudos.
Include photos and or video. Share your interests and hobbies. Anything that will allow people to connect to you.
Give a clear call to action. What do you want them to do? Example… Follow me on my social media sites… or subscribe to my newsletter.
Direct them to your contact me page or form.
Get creative. Link to a relevant post or hidden page… example “Click here to learn 5 things you did not know about me”
Write your story in word and copy it to your blog post. Here are some additional ideas when writing your story…
Write your story with your readers in mind. How can you relate to them?
Write your story to appeal to your readers’ emotions… not logic.
Be colorful and descriptive. Paint a picture.
Make it eye friendly, easy to read, small paragraphs, good spacing. Use bold letters once in a while.
Interject sections with titles.

Really work hard on this page. The investment to write your complete story will pay out huge dividends. Just this last week I had someone new join me in business because of my story. Blogging For Beginners: Is there a best way to organize the content on my blog?

For organizational purposes it’s also necessary for you to create specific categories and subcategories on your blog. Figure out what most of your posts will be about. Choose 3-4 broad categories like Social Media, Wellness, and Internet Marketing for example.

Subcategories for Social Media could be Facebook, Twitter, & Youtube. Under Wellness could be Whole Foods, Exercise, Supplements, Spiritual, Mindset, etc… And under Internet Marketing could be Pay-Per-Click, Article Marketing, Social Bookmarking, Search Engine Optimization, Forum Marketing, etc…

This helps you to stay more organized and helps your readers find topics of interest.

Blogging For Beginners: Are there certain things I should recommend on my blog so I can make money?

There are loads and loads of systems, tools, and info products on the Internet that are fantastic and jammed with value. Many of those offer affiliate opportunities to generate income for recommending them to friends or readers on your blog. If you honestly feel that they will help people succeed, then you should promote them.

A display of your ‘Recommended Resources’ is very simple to do and can generate you a nice bit a cash with little effort. This is a powerful way to grow another piece of your income pie and help people in the process with finding products that have worked well for you.

Just like a movie or a good restaurant, people are constantly talking and referring people to stuff all the time. Well, when you have a blog you now own some real estate on the Internet to do the same.

Blogging For Beginners: How do I grow my subscribers list with a WordPress Blog?

Today I’m going to reveal one simple fact… You must, must, must have a subscription/optin box. This is absolutely crucial and necessary! Without it you have no way to grow your ‘list’ of people to market to and to invite them to return to your blog when you have new blog posts to share.

And TRULY the only way you’re going to grow this list by the dozens each day is by presenting a unique offer or give-away on the side bar area of your blog. It needs to be something of value and also match what you’re passionate or knowledgeable about.

Think about this… if you build your subscribers to 500 or 1,000 or more… you have the opportunity to syndicate or promote your new blog posts, videos, articles, or products or services to them anytime you want.

That’s powerful stuff, people! And if they find it all valuable they will tell others. It’s just the way it works!
