Tribe Syndication Tuesdays… Come Crashing Through! (#TribeTuesday)

“Ahhhhh! Run for your lives!” would be you first thought if you were faced with the crashing power of a stampede of elephants coming at you, right?

And if you were lucky enough to not get flattened in their wake… oh, the path of their destruction would be evident and obvious all over the place.

Well, on most Wednesdays on my blog it has been that obvious and evident that my ‘Tribe Syndication Partners’ have come by to pay a “noisy” visit… The signs are actually everywhere… my blog, my Twitter mentions, and on my Facebook profile. LOL

I laugh, not about its destructive nature but of its pure energy, power, and influence it puts out on the Net!

Leading up to Tuesday evenings everything is clicking right along, traffic is cruising smoothly…

Then BAM! Here they come… Retweeting, commenting, tagging, and syndicating my best content all over the place: Twitter, Facebook, Youtube and my blog being the major recipients along with social bookmarking sites like Digg, StumbleUpon, Technorati, and more…

It’s truly an amazing sight that has brought me over 20,000+ page views since August. A feat I could never accomplish on my own or for FREE! Google Analytics spikes, traffic comes running, and it’s a feeding frenzy! LOL

This just doesn’t happen in ‘My World’ but also for ALL OF MY TRIBE PARNTERS!

In the following video I’m going to give you a SNEAK PEEK into how we do this. And many of our students have spent $100’s and $1,000’s of dollars on marketing courses this year and say that this IDEA has been the MISSING PIECE they’ve been looking for.

Social Tribes – The Benefits of a Blogging Alliance

The idea of forming tribes around social media and blogs is catching on and for good reason. I’m sure you’ve heard about forming tribes for content syndication. If you have not… the idea is you network with a few people to promote each others content. There are many benefits around tribes and rapid exposure is just the start. But before we get into that I want to share a story of how this tribe was founded.

In the video below you’ll hear how our tribe “Team Empowered” came to be. Like all good ideas, this tribe was formed out of a need. A need that would be better filled with a focused determined group, than by one individual… me.

Earlier this summer I finally came to the realization that I was going to start a blog. I had put off this concept for over 3 years. Many people would tell me to “Just start one.” “You need a blog to get your message out there.” “There’s a lot of money to be made by blogging.” All good points but I had my doubts.

Could I create a blog and provide enough content to keep readers coming back? How often do I need to keep feeding this blog thing? Do I need a technical degree to set it up? And the biggest question we all face is… How do I get traffic? So many questions… but I finally took the plunge and got a blog started with the help of a few friends.

As I was looking around at many different blogs I realized that some were just empty. There was no life, no energy… no community. I knew that I would face the same issues. How to get traffic? So I figured that if I had these questions, others did as well.

So I reached out to several people and purposed a blogging alliance. I was looking to create a mastermind group of a few people who would comment on each others blog and “buzz” each others content. Social Tribes for content syndication was born.

It was not hard to find a few people who caught the vision and wanted to play ball. They are all over the social media sites. Most of them are busy promoting their own content. However there are a few who seem to be climbing the social sites faster than others.

As I mentioned earlier this concept was the main goal at the time. Since then we have realized that there are many benefits to having a mastermind group that is focused on helping each other. A joint venture is one of those benefits and that’s exactly what we did.

There are 5 of us in our blogging alliance. We all have different skills and talents. By pulling these resources together we have made a program that teaches people the power behind tribes, content syndication and social media. Below is a brief excerpt from our official launch of the Tribe Mastery intensive.

Creating A Blog That Is Ready To Syndicate

Frustrated…

All I know is that just 4 months ago I was out there doing all of my marketing on my own. I was meeting a few people and learning a few strategies, but, I had mo partnerships and was making very little money online. I made a few affiliate sales here and there, but that was it for my online income.

Something had to change…

So it was in April when I saw Katie Freiling launch her blog and knew that I need to do the same thing.

The problem was, I couldn’t figure out how she did it! She was getting leads, getting business partners, and making $$$!

I started talking to blog designers and got quotes of thousands of dollars… I was really frustrated!

Plus, I didn’t know how I’d get traffic there. I saw most people just spamming their links to try to get people to go to their company sites and capture pages… I knew that I wanted to do it differently to build my online business.

Solved…

So I decided to get some exclusive mentoring from Jonathan Budd and Katie Freiling on blogging and social media marketing!

BTW Katie was getting 400-500 veiws of her blog each day at that time. Think how much that would’ve cost to do that with Pay-Per-Click… that would have cost a fortune. She was doing it all for FREE!

Within weeks I had my blog set up, had plan, and was quickly seeing results with visitors, traffic, and new Tribe partnerships. That’s when we began to put our Tribe Syndication partnership together and learn how to drive traffic to our sites using social media.

Content Creation For Powerful Messages

Tribe Syndication is an incredible way to grow your business or promote a cause.

Without good quality content it’s difficult to attract top notch people to network with.

One of the best ways to make your blog stand out is to put yourself in your readers shoes. Who is your reader? What is your reader wanting to read? What do they NEED to read?

Before you figure out who your reader is, you need to really define your niche? You may not have a niche yet. You might have a niche, but really need to define it and hone in on it. What is your voice to the world?

I was listening to Brian Tracy the other day. He was talking about how successful people are able to focus on the things that they don’t want to do, so they can enjoy the things that they do want to do.

I agree with that. However, if you pick the right niche you can have your cake and eat it too. If you want to make money blogging, it’s best to choose a niche that you enjoy speaking about.

Creating A Massive Buzz With Your Tribe On Facebook

Let me explain this technique to you really quick because it’s very powerful if you use it correctly!

In Facebook we all have the ability to make categories for our friends. My “friends” on Facebook consist of a few different types of people.

1. My Family

2. My Personal Friends

3. My Business Partners

4. My Tribe Members

5. New People I Meet On Facebook

Out of all of these people the most important to me from a Social Media standpoint is number 5. Why? Because my family and personal friends are not looking to join a business or do a joint venture with me. That’s old school marketing and to me is a big waste of time.

I stay in touch with my business partners and my Tribe on a regular basis, so I know what’s going on with them.

However, the new people I meet on Facebook have potential to partner or JV with me at some point in the future. I just need to find out where they stand. So all of these people I put in a category called internet marketing (you can name it however you want. That’s just what I call it.) So in a sense this is my sales funnel. Since I’m all over Facebook 99% of the time these people that want to be my friend or accept my friend request are in some kind of home based business, online marketing, or just an aspiring entrepreneur.

So because I have categorized these people as having potential I can now go through this list in an orderly fashion and start to build a rapport with each of these people to see what they’re all about.

So if you’re having problems getting traffic to your website or your blog you can find an endless amount of traffic just by going to Facebook and talking to people and properly categorizing them while you work THAT sales funnel. From there lead them to your website or blog. Ask them to just check it out and to tell you their opinion of it.

You will get WAY farther doing this than just going on Facebook and SPAMMING people to check out your latest opportunity. Many people forget the SOCIAL part of Social Media. There has to be some kind of interaction between both parties or else it’s just media…or what I like to call SPAM!

It’s a simple technique but overlooked by many!

36 Paths To Creating Powerful Joint Ventures Through Social Media

The other night I got off the phone with one of my online buddies…

The house was all dark and quiet and everyone was fast asleep. I was nowAMPED and WIDE awake because of the conversation I had just had.

I have to be honest with you… I keep getting ‘slapped’ upside the head with HUGE “Ah-ha!” moments, and feel that it is finally time I share with you and completely EXPOSE an online ‘wealth creator’ that not many people in social media talk about or even know exists…

And that is the JOINT VENTURE…

Now I know, I know. It doesn’t sound glamorous or exotic. And for most people those words sound too full of ‘business’ and ‘work’ and no fun. But the joint venture is far from that, and I’m going to share with you why!

About a year ago, when I first came online I was very blessed by some specialized knowledge and happened to tap into some GREAT MENTORING (Jonathan Bud) that led me to focusing on creating relationships and exposure in social media. Again, if it all sounds too simple, let me ask you this…

Of the people you are connected with on Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, or your blog, how many of them have you actually talked to on the phone or Skype? And how many have called you, not to pitch or sell you on anything, but to join you in business, as a partner, or want your mentoring?

There is a reason that most people aren’t seeing any success online, because they are doing social media marketing ALL WRONG!! And I know most people actually KNOW this information, but don’t APPLY this knowledge effectively or persistently…

Boiled down… you want to Educate, Enlighten, Entertain, Encourage, and Inspire people with your messages and videos. (Katie Freiling is a perfect example of this.) If you are doing this, you will ‘attract’ and ‘draw’ people to YOU like bees to honey! If you don’t make these changes, you won’t have a chance to succeed in the social media arena. That’s just the plain TRUTH…

The reason I’m sharing this with you today is because a Joint Venture will never have a chance of surfacing if you don’t bring ‘value’ to the world you are engaging!

So let’s get into some examples and details of what can be done to encourage people to KNOW, LIKE, AND TRUST you and ultimately want to learn from, join, or partner with you in business.

Relationship Building: Remember it’s about keeping the focus on others, asking questions, and listening for their Strengths, Interests, Goals, and Needs (SIGN). I like to visualize a spot light on them, keeping it off of me. People love to talk about themselves, and you will be thought of fondly by them as a great conversationalist.
Earning Trust: The fastest way to lose this is to be ‘pitching’ your gig to them right out of the gate. Approach people in a support role. Give, give, give…
Building Value: Ninety percent of your messages and content need to be of value to your audience. Ten percent or less should be based around promoting some sort of product or service you market. Be careful in the way you do this though… Create the promotion around a question or open ended thought.
Be A Good Communicator: Be clear and concise. Focus on what your audience would be interested in. Look directly into the camera lens if using video. They are asking themselves, “What’s in it for me?” as they engage you, too.
Use Social Media Strategies: Leverage the power of the social media sites. That is take advantage of the massive amount of traffic there. Get training from those with proven results in this arena.
Use Tools And Systems: Putting these together will maximize your results online. Make sure you have the ability to capture leads, follow up with them, and create more exposure for yourself. There are many such tools and systems to choose from…
Create A Blog: By far the most powerful strategy to have today in marketing is a personal WordPress blog. This is your ‘home’, the place where you can invite your new friend to learn everything about you. This is where you are able to build your personal brand and share your knowledge and personality with the world.
Create Social Proof: People want to see who you are connected with. They ask themselves, “Are people interested in your content?” People won’t spend much time on a site that looks like a ghost town. That’s why your relationships are SO important!
Promote Others: Get out there and ReTweet great content on blogs, comment on them, promote and tag people on Facebook, create a Facebook Fan Page that helps support others and their ability to self promote, ‘buzz’ other people’s content on Twitter with a genuine “shout out” about something of value that someone you want to know has created, etc…
Be Transparent And Authentic: Don’t just talk marketing and MLM… that isn’t who you REALLY are! Connect everything to a personal experience or story that people can relate to.
Show Your Personal Side: Tell stories about struggles, victories, family life, hobbies, interests, dreams, goals, passions… just typing these words gets me excited!
Use Video: This is the one medium that lets people see into your soul, connecting with the real person you are. Text and emails can’t come close to making a genuine first impression like video can. Send personal video messages on Facebook. I can’t tell you how many people have flipped out and told me how awesome it was to receive a video message from me. And that I was the first person to ever do that. And that they were going to start doing the same…
Offer A Mentoring Program: Believe it or not. You are most likely ready to do this now… Let me explain. Would you say that you probably know more than most people about marketing online? Because you’re here right now, I’m assuming you’re swimming in the same waters with people that have taught you a lot about this topic. Now you can take that to the next level. Create your blog and offer mentoring. Put a PayPal button on there and away you go. Here’s a post that shares how to do that and how to brainstorm a niche for mentoring.
Promote Your “Tribe”: Find people who offer high-value content and promote them on the social media sites and on their blog. An amazing thing will happen. They will reciprocate and you will reap HUGE REWARDS for this philosophy.
Engage People Everywhere: Show appreciation, comment on interesting ideas, ask questions, relate what you read to your own stories and get people to think and respond back to you… This is what creates the magnetic effect with people who GET THIS!! Start doing this immediately!
Refer People To Others (Be A ‘Connector’): Maybe it’s not a match for you to work with someone you know, but you just met someone else who would be… Connect them up. You’ll be amazed at what will come back to you when you GIVE UNCONDITIONALLY!

Here are Five Powerful Laws Of Stratospheric Success (From The Go-Giver Book) to consider…

The Law Of Value: Your true worth is determined by how much more you give in value than you take in payment.
The Law Of Compensation: Your income is determined by how many people you serve and how well you serve them.
The Law Of Influence: Your influence is determined by how abundantly you place other people’s interests first.

These ideas have been some of the most influential concepts that have shaped the way I do business and relate to people.

Obviously growing your list of subscribers fits in here as well… because you can continue to communicate to them at will ’til the end of time. And they will be VERY responsive if you follow the lessons outlined above!

The whole time you were developing those relationships it was like putting money into the bank. When it comes time to request a withdrawal, you’ll have EARNED that opportunity.

Is this all starting to make sense???

But you haven’t even seen the FUN part! The part where you can create a significant income while having fun with these new friends…

Here is a significant list of the many creative and lucrative ventures you can develop:

Host Webinars (Free or Paid): This will still lead people to your information, products, or services.
Create Info Products: DVD’s, CD’s, eBooks, Membership Site. Too many people don’t think they have enough value to bring to the table. But THAT IS A FREAKING LIE YOU NEED TO QUIT TELLING YOURSELF!
Form A Tribe Or Content Syndication Partnership:
Create A Team Around A Network Marketing Product: Delegate marketing duties based on strengths; PPC, video, blogging, contacts, list building, social media, etc…
Cross Promote Each Others Products/Services:
Create Your Own Affiliate Programs For Information, Products, Or Services: Enlist your friends to help you with content, exposure, and marketing. Share the profits.
Become Affiliates To Each Others Stuff:
Create A Blog Together: Share or rotate the leads, rotate submitting content, build an SEO strategy together…
Create A Marketing Co-Op: Generate and share leads with Pay-Per-Click (PPC), share costs of programs like GoToWebinar or things that have a monthly cost.
Create An Exclusive Ning.com Community: Post exclusive information, videos, and discussions…
Form A Support Network: The goal is to help each other succeed. Through this many great ideas for partnerships surface.
Start A ‘Power Hour’: Carve out one hour per week where you meet on Skype and jump from blog to blog, commenting, retweeting, and submitting posts to social bookmarking sites…
Be A Guest Writer On Someone Else’s Blog: Approach a highly trafficked blog owner, and ask them if it would be possible to submit a guest blog post. This would be considered your most incredible content. Yes, your best! Give it away! So you can get exposure with your best ideas out there…
Invite Other Top Bloggers To Submit A Guest Blog Post To Your Site: Go for it! You never know, after you’ve put some time into developing the relationship, they may just say yes! Wahoo!
Interview Others: Find experts in niche markets that may be of interest to your friends and followers of your blog. You can also create a CD offer or bonus offer with that content.
Offer To Be Interviewed: Many bloggers will jump at the chance to host an interview with you if you offer great value in your content.

Micro-Marketing Funnel In 4 Steps: Tools, Social Media, Promote Others, And Relationship Marketing

For months I’d been trying to wrap my head around a way to streamline and simplify the way I was using social media… I knew that there had to be a simple strategy that I could put in place to funnel the most relevant and targeted people to me and my information.

Creating an Extremely Targeted Micro Marketing Funnel allowed me to narrow and simplify my focus and it kept me on track with my marketing strategies.

Social Media Marketing Impersonal?

The other day I got to thinking about how ‘Impersonal’ social media sites, MLM company generated web sites, and most Internet pages are.

Now let me quickly clarify that these sites do allow for people to share information about their interests or about them and connect with people… but very few people utilize video in an affective way to begin the relationship-building process.

To do so on most sites you’d have to have someone click on your video post or link to get them to watch it, too.

So I started looking for a way to position myself (via video) in front of every person who accepts my invitation to visit my web sites; both social media focused or not.

To my surprise and joy, I found just that!

A System…

Where I could put my own video welcome and introduction on a pre-landing page to my site. This has allowed a way for my ‘new friends’ to see me, hear me, and get to know me better than they ever could have by just reading my profile or reading my copy.
Where I can give directions of where to go and what to do as they enter my site. This allows for me to request that they look at certain information, direct them, and make their visit more productive.
Where I can give them a call to action for subscribing to my newsletter, video series, or eZine. This is a tremendous benefit for them and me. They won’t miss an opportunity to subscribe to my valuable info, and I have the opportunity to obtain another subscriber.

And many MLM or Direct Sales companies don’t allow for the associates to present themselves in video OR get notified about people who want to request more information or followup from the person hosting the site.

Top 15 Ways to Build Your Subscriber List

Email marketing can be profitable for any business, no matter what kind of product or service you are selling. It is significantly cheaper than other advertising methods and it helps build credibility with your subscribers. As a result, you can generate more sales and profits.

The foundation for successful email marketing is a targeted, responsive and permission-based email list. If you have a list of subscribers that trust you and consider you an expert, you’ve completed the first step and are on your way!

Below you will find several list-building ideas that will help you make the most of your email marketing efforts:

Provide useful, relevant and unique content. Your visitors will not give you their email addresses just because they can subscribe to your newsletter free of charge. You have to provide unique and valuable information that will be useful to your subscribers.
Add a subscription form to every page of your website. Make sure it stands out so it is easy to find. If appropriate, you can also include it in more than one place. For instance, your opt-in form might always appear in the top-right corner of your site, while you also include an opt-in at the bottom of some of your popular articles.
Make it easy for your reader to sign up. The more information you request, the fewer people will opt-in. In most cases, a name and an email address should suffice. If it’s not necessary, don’t include it here. (Note: If you don’t have a Privacy Policy, put the words “privacy policy generator” into a search engine and you should be able to find a suitable form for your readers to review.
Publish a Privacy Policy. Let your readers know that they can be confident you will not share their information with others. The easiest way to do this is to set up a Privacy Policy web page and provide the link to it below your opt-in form.
Show your first issue or other sample to your visitors. This lets potential subscribers review your newsletter before they sign up to determine if it is something they’d be interested in.
Archive past newsletter issues. A “library” of past newsletters is both appealing and useful to visitors and builds your credibility as an authority. In addition, if your articles are written with good SEO techniques in mind, they can send additional traffic to your web site through good search engine positioning.
Contact other newsletter publishers. Introduce yourself and explore ways you may be able to help each other. Perhaps you can introduce other publisher’s newsletters or print articles they have written to your list, with a link to sign up. When you contact them, be sure to tell them why you think THEIR readers would like what you have to offer and why YOUR readers would benefit from their newsletters. This is a win-win scenario; both of you will build your lists faster!
Give away bonuses subscribers can use. Create an opt-in bonus for joining your subscriber list. You can write an ebook or PDF report, or even hire a programmer to create downloadable or web-based software. But don’t limit yourself to only a gift for new opt-ins. Remind your readers that the next bonus is coming soon. People hate to miss out on things. If you systematically pass on “goodies” throughout the year, your subscribers are unlikely to leave.
Ask your subscribers to pass it on. Word of mouth is a powerful viral technique that works great with email marketing. If your subscribers find the content you share with them to be informative, they will pass your newsletter on to their friends. This can be a good source of new subscribers.
Let others reprint your newsletter as long as the content is not modified. Many webmasters and newsletter publishers are actively looking for high-quality content and, if they reprint your newsletter, you will get new subscribers, traffic and links pointing to your site.
Include a “Sign Up” button in the newsletter. If you are using plain text instead of HTML, provide a text link to your subscription page. You may feel that this is not required because the subscriber is already on your list, but remember that readers will forward your newsletters to others, or reprint it online. You want to make it easy for them to subscribe.
Add a squeeze page. A squeeze page has one goal − to get an opt-in and build your list. Think of it like a mini-sales letter for your subscription or opt-in bonus. It features a powerful headline and a couple of very important benefits that should make subscribers salivate to sign up to your list. Once created, use a service such as WordTracker to find hundreds of targeted keywords, and advertise there using pay-per-click advertising from Google, MSN and Yahoo.
Include testimonials on your squeeze page. This is crucial. Put 1 or 2 strong testimonials from satisfied subscribers on your squeeze page. This can be in any format, but you may find that multimedia (audio or video social proof) is more “believable”. To increase that believability, include full names, locations and/or urls; don’t use “Bob K, FL” as a testimonial name.
Blog religiously. Blogging is a great way to communicate with your potential customers, and it creates a nice synergy with your email marketing. Be sure to include your newsletter sign-up form on each page of your blog. You can start a free blog at Blogger or WordPress.
Post on other blogs. Post great comments and information on similar blogs with a link to your squeeze or opt-in page. Also comment on others’ blogs through trackbacks. In most cases, your comments will be posted on their blogs with a link back to your site. This is an easy way to generate new traffic and subscribers.
